Our client, a leading financial institution, is currently on the market for an Application Support Analyst to work on supporting the roll out of a new trading platform, as well as supporting their suite of existing trading solutions. The role will involve working closely with internal tech teams to streamline process and support high profile clients from within financial services.
- Monitoring the trading applications, troubleshooting, recovery and root cause analysis. Ensuring incidents and problems are continually recorded and updated.
- Automating processes using Powershell and Python.
- Application deployment and automation
- Planning, testing and following production changes through control procedures.
- Collaborating with internal tech teams to continually analyse, test and improve new and existing platforms.
Key Skills and Experience
- Experience in an Application/Technical/Client Support role in Financial Services
- Experience of working with Front/Middle/Back Office technology.
- Python or Powershell scripting essential.
- Experience of Automation
- Exposure to C++ based applications beneficial.
- Understanding of the Commodities Market is beneficial.
