Business Development Support

Position Overview

The  Business Development Support Team (BDS) is responsible for supporting new business opportunities and client servicing. The team is a portal for firm and product information – responsible for completing Requests for Proposals, Due Diligence documents, Questionnaires, Consultant or Third-Party databases as well as ad hoc requests for both internal and external clients. Our dedicated, multi-lingual team service EMEA, Latin America and Asia from our London and Munich offices.
Essential Job Functions

The day-to-day focus of the BDS role will be the support of our marketing and client service account management team in the form of document and data completion.
The position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities including:

 Ensure all document/data assignments are completed accurately within deadline and to a high standard. We aim to create professional, client-focused proposals and servicing pieces that highlight the benefits of our investment solutions.
 Provide product information, gather critical data to respond orally and in writing to ad-hoc information requests
 Complete/coordinate databases that support business and consultant efforts
 Assist with the maintenance/prepare reports of standard RFP language/responses
 Ensure data (assets under management, investment professional, etc.) is suitable and up-to-date for regional use
 Engage in regional/product coverage allocated based on experience and language skills
 Actively adhere to team procedures and contribute to maintaining risk mitigation practices
 Share ideas and leverage work wherever possible across the team
 Contribute to and grow with the organization through a variety of developmental assignments (the nature of which will be based on available opportunities and actual performance in the current role)


 Excellent writing skills
 Demonstrated experience with RFP/documentation completion a plus
 Demonstrated experience with an established asset manager a plus
 Ethical, collaborative, organised, self-starter, accountable and possessing the ability to flourish in a challenging, fast-paced, professional environment with frequent shifts in priorities, as business needs dictate.
 Completion of degree from an accredited, leading business school or university
 Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and reasonable proficiency with PowerPoint.
 Demonstrate/enjoy writing in English. Other language skills, especially Italian, are highly desirable but not a necessity
 Demonstrate the ability to organise and communicate information effectively in writing and interpersonal communications
 Demonstrate the ability to work within tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work product
 Demonstrate the sensitivity to work effectively and professionally with all levels of personnel both internally and externally
 Intellectually curious, enthusiasm for the financial markets and investment management
 Knowledge of fixed income highly desirable; and/or background in macroeconomics
