Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (GCP) - Investment Banking / Retail Banking – London (Remote for now)(£60,000 - £100,000)
An award-winning multi-cloud partner are expanding their multi-cloud practice with the hire of a GCP Infrastructure Engineer for their London team. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is a newly created role in the business due to hyper-growth and will play a critical role in building infrastructure solutions for some of the world's leading brands.
Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Responsibilities
- Building highly available, secure, and scalable cloud applications and supporting infrastructure.
- Support Cloud Architects in analysing existing infrastructure and recommend improvements.
- Prepare for technical presales meetings and workshops for clients
Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Requirements
- Previous experience as an Infrastructure Engineer / Network Engineer with at least 6 months of professional experience with GCP
- Working knowledge of traditional infrastructure services: VPNs, switches, firewalls, routing etc
- Working knowledge of Terraform and other Hashicorp products
- Passionate about cloud technology
- Great work ethic with a desire to grow within a company
