TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Required:
- At least 5 years of experience working as a Network Engineer
- In-depth knowledge of all aspects of TCP/IP, routing and OSI stack.
- Advanced experience of network design and implementation
- Ideally qualified to at least CCNP level
- Full knowledge of using OSPF, EIGRP & BGP routing protocols and managing redistribution over multiple paths
- Full working knowledge and experience of site-to-site IPSEC and DMVPN technologies
- In-depth knowledge of network troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Good working knowledge of internet related technologies (DNS, HTTP, SSH)
- Good working knowledge of Cisco switches, routers and firewalls
Advantageous:
- Good working knowledge of Palo-Alto and Checkpoint firewalls
- Good working knowledge of IPS functionality
- Experience with multicast delivery and routing
- Experience of working within the Financial sector
