Role Description

The Programme Manager will possess proven delivery experience of driving large IT transformational programmes gained across a range of projects, which may include large site builds, from traditional enterprise platform implementations through to customer experience delivery as part of more digitally focused projects.

He or she will be responsible for leading all elements of the programme, representing the business with a professional consultative approach, running from strategic thinking through to implementing a delivery organisation that can execute the programme goals. As the Programme Manager, the successful candidate will have a leadership role, be expected to evangelise the programme and engage at all levels of the client organisation from CxO level down.

The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience:

  • A proven track record of Project and Programme delivery and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of all aspects of successful execution.

  • Experience of leading and driving large IT transformation programs, alignment of Client Business goals with programme objectives and business change approach to delivery.

  • Extensive experience in IT and Business change

  • Knowledge of and experience with delivering Digital programmes

  • Needs to be a strong individual with very consultative advisory approach. Strong impact with extensive experience dealing at the CxO level.

  • Challenging Customer where necessary to help ensure overall programme success

  • Ensuring effective knowledge transfer within the organisation

  • Leading the onshore and offshore teams

  • Sourcing quality staff for the Customer accounts

  • Performance management and development

  • Management of the budget, resources and plan

The role will report to Global Programme Manager, Group IT Manager (IT specific), Steering Committee (HCL input)
