This UX role requires an experienced (5+ years) practitioner able to operate in a highly pressurized and client facing role while producing first class, award-winning design output. Previous experience in financial services is essential.
Successful candidates will be expected to lead the design component of smaller and/or low to mid-level complexity projects (with a design team of up to 3 people), potentially more than one in parallel, ensuring quality thinking, outputs and successful delivery. A Lead must be comfortable dealing with senior client stakeholders, acting as a consultant, leading & organising stakeholder sessions, ingesting, understanding & querying complex requirements documents, and negotiating specifications.
A successful candidate also requires experience in planning, conducting & documenting in the following areas:
- User research
- Research reporting
- Developing user stories
- Ideation and conceptual design
- Product prototyping
- Information architecture
- user testing
- Producing hi-fidelity design specifications
Lead Designers are required to produce their own high-quality design output and need to be confident in explaining their work at any level and producing robust justification for design decisions.
